My gosh it was cold out yesterday morning! The wind was ripping through the harbour from the west. I really didn't dress for the occasion as I quickly dashed out the door for an hour of photography before needing to head home and sort the kids out for school. My travels today took me to Kirribilli, on the North side of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
The Kirribilli area, including Bradfield park and Luna Park, is home to some of the best views of Sydney's Crown Jewels, the Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. These two structures, along with the harbour they are situated on, are synonymous with Sydney. Arguably they are two of Australia's most iconic and recognisable landmarks.
My morning photography session is an Ode to Sydney's Crown Jewels from Kirribilli. I don't think I will ever get tired of photographing them and the harbour they are on. I hope you enjoy the images.

One of the premier Opera Houses of the world. Sydney Opera House is a marvel, a statement.

Entertaining kids and adults alike since opening on 4th October 1935.

When we talk about generational projects and a generational mindset, this is what I think of. Built to last and way above the capacity required at the time it has served this community well.

Circular Quay is the heart of Sydney Harbour. Home to the main ferry terminal of the harbour, you can find many a landmark to visit and view from here as well as a large number of harbour tours.

The Sails of the Opera house look like the bow of a ship turned end on.

Not a bad spot to view parts of the city and harbour from!
