What an amazing chance encounter with this beautiful species of Cockatoo. During an early morning walk around Manly Dam this small flock of around 8 Glossy Black Cockatoos flew into the tree canopy right above myself and my father. They played and preened for about 15 minutes and then they were off again. We couldn't believe out luck and it was hard to wipe the smile off our faces
